摘要：

Some iterative approximation theorems of fixed points for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces are obtained, The results presented in this paper not only improve and extend the corresponding results of Goebel and Kirk(3), Rhoades(5) and Schu(6), but also correct the mistakes in Huang(4).
