Research on Teaching Evaluation System in Higher Vocational Colleges

Higher vocational education is an important part of higher education in China, which has provided a lot of talents for the economic and social development. However, with the development of society technology and the refinement of social division of labor, how to guarantee the teaching quality of higher vocational colleges has been paid more and more attention. This paper analyzes the problems existing in the teaching evaluation system of Higher Vocational Colleges in China; briefly summarizes the significance of the teaching evaluation in higher vocational colleges, and puts forward the corresponding strategies for the reform of teaching evaluation system in higher vocational colleges. Teaching evaluation is a process of judging the implementation or potential value of teaching activities, which can promote the reform and development of higher education and is the basic means of self inspection and adjustment. Carrying out teaching evaluation is an important guarantee to strengthen the teaching management, guidance, supervision and improve the quality of personnel training. With the development of society, the demand for talents is becoming more and more rigorous, and the higher vocational education in China is facing more and more serious challenges. Under such background, higher vocational education must deepen the reform, keep pace with the times, change the teaching mode and combine with the social needs to find a new breakthrough. How to ensure and improve the teaching quality of higher vocational colleges and fmd out an evaluation system to adapt to the characteristics of higher vocational education has become an urgent problem.
