摘要
Political and organization sciences ascribe the formation of coordination structures between sectoral business associations mainly to effects of the national system of business interests, to the establishment of new associations, and to competition about interest domains. This study reveals that the embeddedness of business associations within their sectoral population is guided predominantly by the 'preferential attachment' to business associations that are viewed as influential, no matter on what this attribution is based. Thus, dynamic systems of business interests seem to follow 'laws' similar to those found in physical and organisational network topographies.
