FDA-MIMO RADAR RANGE AMBIGUITY CLUTTER SUPPRESSION APPROACH BASED ON SPARSE DIMENSIONALITY REDUCTION STAP

摘要
The range ambiguity clutter of Frequency Diverse Array (FDA) radar due to high pulse repetition frequency increases the difficulty in clutter suppression and target detection for targets with weak signal strength. In this paper, based on the establishment of forward-looking array radar signal model under FDA-MIMO system, range ambiguity clutter can be effectively separated through secondary range-dependent compensation and Doppler compensation. Focused on low-rank characteristics of sea clutter, a sparse dimensionality reduction STAP approach is proposed to effectively suppress range ambiguity clutter. Simulation results show that sparse dimensionality reduction STAP approach has better clutter suppression effect than other dimensionality reduction methods, such as Joint Domain Localised (JDL).
