摘要
Purpose: Endometriosis is a chronic disease. The objective of this retrospective pilot study is the analysis of modulating factors influencing the rehabilitation process. Methods: Data from medical records of 362 patients at the rehabilitation hospital in Bad Salzuflen (Germany) in 2008 and 2009 concerning physical, mental and job-related abilities as well as from their previous questionnaires were statistically correlated with the success of rehabilitation. Results: The majority of patients appreciated the general benefit of the rehabilitation. The physical and psycho educative measures were perceived significantly. Women with the desire of having children and patients with the intention of weight reduction had a benefit by customized rehabilitation activities. However, patients with a severe disease or with depressive symptoms evaluated worse. Conclusion: Patients with endometriosis can profit by the rehabilitation, especially if the mentioned goals were respected.
