摘要
With an increased percentage of the population using the Internet, the Web is the most popular medium to collect and disseminate information. Web surveys are widely used instead of paper-and-pencil (print) surveys to measure employee motivation, program effectiveness and staff performance. However, few researchers worry that the same questions posed on the Web and in print can yield very different answers. The purpose of this study was to determine if participants would respond differently to a gradient of questions, when the survey method was modified and complete anonymity was available for each group. Finally, implications and possible issues of Web surveys were also discussed. (c) 2004 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
