Doing Action Research on Unit Teaching Contents in Reading and Writing Textbook of New Horizon College English

In order to stimulate students' interests in college English learning and improve students' learning efficiency, the writer did an action research on unit teaching contents in reading and writing textbook of New Horizon College English. The action research was made up of two cohorts circled with teaching arrangement. Through the research, the writer has achieved a lot, while there still exists much room for college English teachers to explore.
