摘要：

The work discusses the issues of development and results of the governmental educational policy in post-reform Ossetia. Especial attention is paid to primary level of the public education system as a main form of organization of educational process for poorest layers of indigenous population. The analysis of various sources (including legislation acts) revealed that evolution of the regional educational system was largely determined by both the Ministry of public education and Holy Synod reforms, but was characterized by its specifics. As a result of the state educational institutions and regional administration activities in the sphere of public education Ossetia was quite integrated into the state educational area.
