US Privacy Laws' impact on Protecting Students Privacy Information in Educational Institutions

摘要：

The paper investigated how to protect the student's privacy information in educational institutions with the current U.S. Government laws that contradict privacy rules. The sources of U.S. government laws are enumerated and statistically analyzed to understand aggregate the effects on students' privacy in educational institutions. The data used in the analysis were collected from survey using questionnaire or obtained via simulation in sampling public opinion on government invasion of their privacy and what they understand their rights are under the privacy laws.
