3D joint inversion of gravity and seismic data for imaging interface

摘要
Joint inversion is an important method of geophysical interpretation, which could improve the accuracy of the inversion for the model parameters. This paper summarized and analyzed the current state of the research and application of joint inversion using gravity and seismic data. Then, we employed the forward formula of seismic travel time and gravity anomaly in 3D Multi-layer media model, to deduce the Jacobian matrix of travel time and gravity anomaly with interface; on the base of which, the simultaneous joint inversion of gravity and seismic data was implemented for imaging interface in 3D Multi-layer media model. To verify this method, a numerical simulation was performed. The results of real data inversion show that simultaneous joint inversion using gravity and seismic data could reconstruct the model interface well.
