THE NOTION OF POTENTIAL IN ECONOMICS: TASKS AND DIRECTIONS FOR RESEARCH The article is analyzing the contents of the notion of potential as it is treated in various sciences as well as the practice of its interpretation and application in the economics, also grounding the expediency of specifying the economic contents of the given concept by analogy with hard sciences and determines the tasks for further research on the development of general economic theory of potentials.
