Determination of combustible gases in air using piezocatalytic sensors

摘要
The physical principles of detecting combustible gases in air were analyzed, and a method for determining combustible gases in air was proposed. The method is based on measuring the heat effects of chemical reactions using thermosensitive piezoelectric quartz crystal vibrators. Experimental results are presented. Piezocatalytic transducers were developed for determining combustible impurities in air with the detection limit of 10(-2) vol %.
