摘要：
Soliton switching in a two-core lead silicate based holey fiber nonlinear directional coupler is studied numerically. A new coupled nonlinear Schrodinger type equation is derived. The effect of the nonlinear saturation parameter has been investigated. It is shown that the proposed coupler has distinct practical advantages over that of the conventional silica based coupler.
