SOME PARTICULARITIES OF THE PERSONALITY STRUCTURE OF ADOLESCENTS

Personality can be considered a precious gift that man can receive through self-education, desire to overachieve, and personal effort. Personality shaping takes place during adolescence because at this young age, the young man is able to consciously self-determinate and to express his own ideas regarding self-education and self-definition. Understanding the nature of human personality is a key factor both in self-knowledge but also in knowing others. The adolescents' personality has an important role in the adaptation level to their environment, academic behavior and performance in school. Sometimes disturbances of personality occur and they are reflected in the adolescents' behavior. In this study we aim to reveal specific aspects of the adolescents' personality using the Woodworth-Matthews questionnaire.
