摘要：
This paper discusses the clinical signs, epidemiology, diagnosis and management of a number of infectious diseases (Clostridium perfringens type A enteritis and enterotoxaemia, streptococcosis, staphylococcosis, foot and mouth disease, actinomycosis and brucellosis). A few serious parasitic diseases are likewise discussed [gastrointestinal nematodes, meningeal worm (Parelaphostrongylus tenius), Lamanema chavezi, Nematodirus spp. and whipworms (Trichuris spp)]. Special attention is given to parasite control and management.
