Evaluating Scraper Chain Reliability Based on Grey Relational Analysis and Fuzzy Clustering

摘要
In order to evaluate scraper chain reliability and ensure scraper conveyor's safety operation, the evaluation index system is established based on the characteristics of scraper chain reliability influencing factors and a new model is applied which combines grey relational analysis with fuzzy clustering. Firstly, the order of scraper chains reliability is obtained by grey relational analysis. Then, the classifications are obtained by fuzzy clustering. Deficiency of a single evaluation method is overcome and more comprehensive information is obtained. It provides a basis for the scraper chain's reliable operation and normal coal production. Finally, the effectiveness of the method is illustrated with a case.
