摘要
In the development of any communication process -including the research results- it is of main importance the correct identification and characterization of its essential elements in order to avoid interferences or barriers to the communication process. With the purpose of studying the communication of technological innovation research, we have taken as reference the Technovation journal which lies in a prominent position among others in its field, as can be seen from different papers and also from information provided by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI). In order to reach our goal, we have analyzed the Technovation journal (communication channel), the authors who have published their researches through it (emitting), the papers' themes published (message), the journal readers interested in its contents (receiving) and the answers to published messages (feedback). The sources of information to our research were the journal itself, ISI, and the Emerald Group. With the information gathered we created a data base from which we characterized the elements of the journal communication process.
