A brief history of double beta decay experiments is presented. The best currently running experiments. (NEMO-3 and CUORICINO) and their latest results are described. The best measurements and limits for the 2 nu beta beta, 0 nu beta beta and 0 nu chi(0)beta beta are summarized.
