摘要
In this work, effect of A. ferrooxidans on the flotation of a lead-zinc ore was investigated. A. ferrooxidans were adopted with 50 g/1 original ore and their growth curves were drawn before and after adaptation. The efficiencies of A. ferrooxidans and the chemical depressant of NaCN for the depression of pyrite in the flotation process were compared. The results showed that bacterial growth curve significantly changed after adaptation process. In fact, because of the ore characteristics, addition of original ore to medium culture not only decreased bacterial cell count but also improve their growth. Bioflotation results showed that Pyrite significantly was depressed in the both galena and sphalerite concentrates using A. ferrooxidans in the experiment conditions as well as NaCN.
