摘要
A highly directional patch antenna with a novel fishnet metamaterial as cover has been presented at 92.4 GHz frequency. Partial substrate removal technique is used to suppress the surface wave losses. Result shows 14.91 dB improvements in gain and directionality has been improved to 3.5 degrees as compare to 78.3 degrees in conventional patch antenna. (C) 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
