Crystal Structure of Zinc(II) Complex Containing Benzimidazole and Its Catalytic Activity of Hydrolysis of p-Nitrophenyl Phosphate

摘要
A phosphoester model complex [Zn(L1)(L2)]center dot H2O was synthesized and characterized (L1=bis(benzimidazol -2-yl-methyl)amine, L2=5-dimethylaminonaphthalene-1-sulphonylglycine), and its catalytic activity was investigated by using p-nitrophenyl phosphate (PNPP) as the substrate. The results showed that the zinc complex exhibit distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry, its catalytic hydrolysis of PNPP was consistent with Michaelis-Mentent model. Several kinetic parameters V-max, K-m and k(cat) were examined under different conditions,. and maximal catalytic activity was observed at a temperature of 35 degrees C and pH=8.5. CCDC: 867155.
