摘要
By extending the discussions in Dalcanton (2007) which focused on single "impulsive" infall and outflow without interleaved star formation behavior, we study the impacts on the galaxy chemical evolution caused by continuous infall, outflow and star formation. Our general results agree well with Dalcanton (2007), i.e. neither continuous infall nor continuous unenriched outflow model could reproduce the observational metallicity of galaxies, but the continuous enriched outflow model could. Furthermore, we also calculated and compared the impacts of different timescales of infall/outflow and enrichment fraction on galaxy metallicity. It is found that these different timescales would have significant effects on metallicity of galaxies.
