Application of image-guided system to endoscopic sinus surgery

摘要：
Because of its advantages, image-guided system has introduced in paranasal sinus surgeries,We experienced 28 cases of sinus disease by using an articulated mechanical arm system, which could guide with an accuracy of about 2 mm through the critical point of sinuses such as orbital wall, ethmoid tegmen and optic canal. We discussed both advantages and disadvantages of this system in order to avoid complications and minimal invasion for sinus surgeries.
