Heat transfer at propane pool boiling and evaporation in capillary-porous evaporators

摘要
Pool boiling and evaporation heat transfer of: propane oil cylindrical surfaces with stainless steel sprayed and sintered copper powder porous coatings experimentally analyzed at the heat flux ranges 10(2) to 10(5) W/m(2). Evaporative heat transfer of propane on the same porous cylindrical surfaces with capillary suction was determined to compare with the pool boiling intensity. It depends oil permeability, porosity, thermal conductivity of the capillary-porous structure and in some cases is 2-3 times higher than pool boiling heat transfer for the same heat flux interval.
