摘要
It is important to study teenagers' perceptions and attitudes about Amazon conservation because we will know how they are prepared to preserve the environment and use natural resources in a sustainable manner. The objective of this investigation was to analyze the attitudes towards environmental conservation in high school adolescents in the city of Puerto Maldonado. The study took place in the institute: Nuestra Senora del Rosario. Our sample size was 164 students with individuals from both sexes. We applied a stratified probabilistic test to the students who ranged from 1st to 5th grade in secondary school to which we applied the Scale of Environmental Conservation Attitude, this scale being a tool that will allow us to perceive the required value. The results indicate that a considerable percentage of students present an indifferent attitude towards environmental conservation and in relation to its dimensions. In the cognitive and reactive components, a predominant indifferent attitude prevailed meanwhile the affective component showed an attitude of acceptation. We conclude that it is necessary apply pedagogic strategies to improve the attitude of the students towards environmental conservation.
