IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESSES WITH ICT USE AT UNIVERSITY OF ALICANTE. A CASE STUDY

摘要
The efficient use of the technological resources in the teaching activity has become a challenge which cannot be postponed for the teachers of all educative stages due to the influence it has on the improvement of the quality of education. The incorporation of the new digital tools to the teaching and learning processes favours the collegiate building of the knowledge and the development of interactive and enriching methodological approaches, which are of paramount relevance in university education. For that, since 2009, the University of Alicante is promoting technological and educative innovation groups integrated by teachers, administration staff and students, with the aim of developing and trying innovative processes which adjust to specific institutionally pre-established priorities. In this piece of work, we are presenting the experience of the TACE group (Technology Applied to Educative Sciences) whose participants have developed investigation-action research line, which has a positive impact on the studies within the Faculty of Education. The results, specially the increase of the academic level of achievement, the spread of the knowledge and the satisfaction of the students and the teachers, encourage the members of the group to go further with their research lines. As a whole, the experience is set up as a satisfactory strategy to improve the quality of the university education.
