We throw i.i.d. random squares S (1),S (2), with respective side lengths l (1),l (2),a uniformly on the two-dimensional torus a"e/a"currency signxa"e/a"currency sign, where is a nonincreasing sequence with 0 < l (n) < 1 and lim (n -> a) l (n) =0. A necessary and sufficient condition for covering the connected curve {0}xa"e/a"currency sign is
