摘要
This paper proposes an algorithm to find optimal spinning reserve in the system with wind power uncertainty by unit commitment problem with optimal generation dispatch considering EENS constraint. In this method, spinning reserve is included in the set of state variables to be minimized and consists of reserves which represent load uncertainty and wind power uncertainty. The EENS constraint is a function of spinning reserve from only wind power uncertainty, where it is limited by an acceptable level. This algorithm is applied to a system with eight thermal generators for four case studies. The results include the optimal spinning reserve and generator output of each generator, the total cost, operating cost, spinning reserve cost and EENS cost for each case study.
