摘要：
As the pillar industry, the construction industry faced many problems in the United States and China, for example; inefficient, waste of resources and the low level of construction information. However, with the development and maturation of the BIM application, the problems will be solved, and the construction industry will achieve a sustainable development. According to the literatures in recent years, this paper describes the BIM application in the United States and China. Depending on the application scope, characteristics and development, the future application is presented.
