Liquid-phase systems of cellulose and poly(ethylene terephthalate) in trifluoroaceific acid

摘要
It was shown that in contrast to acetates, cellulose is compatible with PETP in trifluoroacetic acid in the entire range of ratios of the components. It was It hypothesized that the compatibility is the result of formation of stable macromolecular complexes with the participation of cellulose hydroxyl groups and PETP ester groups. The possibility of fabricating sufficiently strong and elastic fibres from a solution of a mixture of cellulose acetate with gamma = 290 and PETP in trifluoroacetic acid was demonstrated.
