In this study, the conjugate heat transfer problem of two laminar forced convection boundary layers of counterflow on conductive wall sides is analyzed in a dimensionless form by employing the integral method. The resultant main differential equations are solved numerically by using the well-known fourth-order Runge-Kutta numerical technique. The main dimensionless parameters affecting the thermal interaction process between two convection layers are deduced from the analysis. These parameters give a measure of the relative importance of interactive convection and conduction heat transfer modes. Mean Nusselt number data are obtained for a wide range of these affecting parameters.
