摘要：
A non-cooled smelt spout has been developed for use in chemical recovery boilers to replace the traditional water-cooled spout. The benefits and features of the DrySpout(TM) as well as the operating experience gained during the last five (5) years of in-service operation is highlighted. This design of the DrySpout(TM) has been used in a wide range of recovery boilers. The experience has resulted in the development of seven (7) new refinements to the original spout configuration which have been incorporated into the next generation design. These changes improve the operational life of the spouts and will be illustrated. The poster will mostly focus on the key details and latest refinements to the spout assembly that may not be commonly known. The specific benefits directly related to these spouts are highlighted and summarized.
