摘要：

Glass for flood protection has a revival with the flood in spring 2013. Glass walls can overcome the reluctance against rigid protective walls in inner cities. For planners, the resistance against flotsam is an essential factor. For citizens and architects, the flood protection has to fit in the historic center. The relation between waterfront and river must not be disturbed. The Warnemunde project shows: Flood protection with laminated glass walls is robust, save and of high architectural quality.
