摘要：
This paper establishes a criterion able to express the opinion one's has when comparing measurement with uncertainties and computations with uncertainties. The example of the RCS of a metallic target is given. The main source of computation and measurement uncertainties are described and quantified. The Mahalanobis distance is exploited to exhibit a comparison criterion.
