The Theoretical Basis for the Policies of Building Low-carbon Eco-city in China

.To achieve harmony between man and nature through the development of low-carbon economy and low-carbon eco-city has become the further goals and direction for the China city. In the course of building low-carbon eco-city we demand a series of policy mechanisms, how to formulate appropriate policies to promote the development of low-carbon eco-city? So, the theoretical basis of policies is particularly important to formulate appropriate policies. This paper will attempt to analyze this issue, with a view to provide some help to solve the problem through the traditional thoughts of "harmony between man and nature" and modem economic theory.
