摘要
Modern embedded systems tend to employ a plethora of inter-connected components leaving behind complex superscalar/centralized approaches. This evolution in system architecture has driven rapid changes on the field of application development too, by increasing the usage of complex and demanding applications. Thus, multi-agent systems raise the challenge of efficient resource management especially in cases where changes occur at run-time with a rapid pace. This paper couples the concept of multi-agent systems with run-time resource management techniques in order to develop a distributed framework for run-time management of multi-agent systems. The proposed framework is based on local run-time services and distributed agents in order to provide self-management functions while keeping system requirements. The motivation for this work is coming from the automotive industry and specifically from the Infotainment domain.
