Analyses of the growth process of an industry based on logistic function

The paper discusses the problem of analyzing the growth process of an industry by logistic function. In 2.1 basic statements about industry growth are put forward that the output series of an industry may or may not belong to logistic function and it may be composed of several sub-logistic-periods. From 2.3 to 2.5, identifying series and waving series are drawn out, F(K,b) equation and W(K,b) equation are established, by which the waving properties and the logistic parameters can be determined. In section 3, the working procedure and standards to apply the models in practical analyzing are proposed briefly.
