摘要
The acid-base and physicochemical properties of newly synthesized chelating sorbents, poly(styreneazosalicylic acid) derivatives, were examined. Correlations between the (pK)COOH of the functional groups of the sorbents and the pH(50) values for copper, cobalt, and nickel chelate formation were found in order to study the interactions in the metal ion-sorbent system. The correlations found make it possible to predict the physicochemical parameters of sorbents and the sorption of metal cations for the purpose of separating and preconcentrating Cu, Co, and Ni traces from solutions, natural water, and wastewater.
