Analysis of fireworks and firecracker accidents in China in recent years

摘要：
The present paper reviews the statistics of fireworks and firecracker accidents and the safety status of fireworks and firecracker plants in China in recent years. The characteristic and the causes of the accidents are analyzed. Fireworks and firecracker major accidents (more than 10 people dead) in China in recent years are listed. According to statistics, from 1985 to 2003, there are 8 448 accidents, 445 accidents per year averagely. The situation of safety production of fireworks and firecracker in China is still severe. In the end, the authors give some countermeasures and suggestions for the safety management of safety production of fireworks and firecracker.
