AN INFLUENCE ANALYSIS OF Y-SHAPED POLYESTER BLENDED KNITTED FABRIC ON ITS THERMAL COMFORT

摘要
In this paper, 18 kinds of knitted fabric with different specifications were designed by use of 6 kinds of yam with Y-shaped polyester staple fiber as basic materials. By testing their thermal comfort such as fabric's water-absorption, air-permeability and water vapor-permeability etc, the major influences of the comfort factors of the knitted fabric and the best design parameters such as yam blending ratio, yam construction and fabric structure etc. were got by means of math range analysis. The research will offer the references for further research and development of the summer functional knitted fabrics.
