Production of the herb layer in the Danubian lowland floodplain forests

摘要：
The paper is focused upon detailed production-ecological analysis of the herb layer in several categories of floodplain forests (soft, transitional and hard) before and after damming the Danube river. Obtained results are compared and discussed (Tables 2-4) and the synthesis of the herb layer biomass studies in the Danubian floodplain forests is presented(Table 5).
