摘要
A model of low-frequency transformer-type discharge at atmospheric pressure is proposed. An analytical and numerical investigation is performed of a one-dimensional equilibrium discharge in the static mode. The threshold value of voltage across a plasma loop is determined, and the existence of two modes of discharge burning is revealed, namely, a stable mode with a high temperature and an unstable mode with a low temperature. The calculation results are in qualitative agreement with the experimental data.
