The phase diagram of carbon in the neighborhood of the solid-liquid-vapor triple point

Based on the literature data and our own experimental results, we propose a consistent procedure of plotting boundary curves of melting and boiling for carbon. The triple point parameters are predicted, which are markedly different from those adopted at present: pressure, P-tr similar or equal to 1 bar; temperature, T-tr similar or equal to 4000 K.
