A way to increase the efficiency of klystrons

摘要
The phase shift of alternating voltage in the last but one cavity allows align electron velocities in already generated bunch. On the basis of this method C-band 30-beam klystron has been developed and tested. The 25% decrease of cathode voltage has been observed due to reducing velocity spread in the bunch.
