摘要：
This paper describes the history of computational intelligence from its first beginnings up to the creation of artificial neural networks, of evolutionary algorithms and of fuzzy systems. This history shows to be an evolutionary process influenced by many controversies and leads to open questions. Some of them are discussed here.
