Gradient-index optical system for introducing the radiation of a semiconductor laser diode into a single-mode fiber

摘要：
This paper proposes a gradient-index optical system for introducing the radiation of a semiconductor laser diode into a single-mode fiber. The design data of such an optical system are presented. Its calculated aberrational characteristics ale considered. Experimental results are presented for the measured losses when the radiation of a laser diode is introduced into a single-mode fiber for the given system. (C) 1997 The Optical Society of America.
