摘要
The process of how some of the design and verification challenges presented by emerging wireless signal formats can be addressed by simulating both the radio frequency (RF) and baseband portions of a system design in the same electronic design automation (EDA) simulation tool for requuirements partitioning and system-level design verifcation throughout the design cycle is illustrated. In addition, the EDA connectivity to test equipment also illustrated how it can be used to enhance design verification throughout the design cycle by modeling real-world signals in simulation and turning them into RF test signals on the testbench to test early prototype hardware.
