Study on air-conditioning fiber/cotton blended yarn sizing using less PVA

摘要
The sizing of air-conditioning fiber/cotton blended yam was carried out according to the method of quadratic regression orthogonal design. The sizing ingredients mainly consist PR-S, denatured starch and less PVA. The properties of the sized yarns such as breaking strength, breaking elongation, wear resistance and hairiness index were tested base on the practical production demands. The testing data was analyzed by using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The comprehensive evaluation result of the sizing performance shows the synthetic performance of sizing will be better when the percentage of PVA, denatured starch and PR-S are 2.735%, 4.823% and 3.823%.
