摘要
The article deals with implementing and expanding CLIL programs in faculties focused on management engineering curricula in step with the European requirements and their corresponding forms of documenting, acknowledging and using educational outcomes on the worldwide labour market. The specificity of Romanian academic education, as revealed in our analysis, consists in: students interested in CLIL programs developed mainly in English, with good command of this idiom, but facing gaps in proficient information processing; teaching staff less interested in this methodology, as it is perceived as time-consuming, far more demanding than it is rewarded, and lacking resources for materials and new didactic strategy trainings. Our paper discusses motivation and benefits in such CLIL implementation, with a clear focus on enhanced English communication competence.
