Influence of drying temperature on the impedance of grid active material interface of formed positive electrode in lead-acid batteries

摘要
The positive electrode characteristics for lead-acid battery have been studied by applying the FRA impedance measurements and the X-ray analysis. Drying after formation of the positive electrode is one of the most important process in manufacturing. The formed positive electrode performance depended on the drying temperature. It was found that the electrical condition of positive electrode was able to express by the equivalent circuit. From the impedance analysis, it was showed that the resistance of passivation films and the electrical double layer capacity changed with the drying temperature. Also it seemed in the equivalent circuit that the resistance of the area covered with lead sulfate crystal was small. Results indicated that the parameter of the equivalent circuit was affected by the drying temperature.
